Dynamic Well Profiling

With the increasing complexity of today's multi-stage/multi-zone completions, PureLight provides solutions for better understanding dynamic profiles where standard Production Logging Suites are challenged.

PureLight can identify, characterize and position acoustic events, temperature and vibration to an accuracy of less than 0.55m (1.8 ft). This allows simultaneous identification and characterization of multiple individual events separated by as little as 2 meters (6.5 ft).

The intervention system can either be run using a specially developed slickline or braided mono-conductor wireline on a standard winch unit or it may be installed in coil tubing for horizontal applications.

Permanent installations may also be designed to specific wellbore requirements, for both vertical and Horizontal applications. These lines are all equipped with dual fiber cores to facilitate simultaneous acquisition of both DAS and DTS.
 

Dynamic Frac/Injection Profiling

With a permanent installation option, PureLight allows for real-time monitoring of the complete well life from initial completion and fracture operations, right through to flow back-clean up stage, production and ultimately injection profiling throughout the life of the well.

The PureLight system is installed by either securing the multi-fiber bundle to the external surface of the production string or pumping it into a control line placed during the completion operations.

Using a streaming web-based portal, the Real-time Soundfield may be viewed simultaneously on multiple monitors at multiple locations, allowing immediate access during fracture operations.

By acquiring and saving the complete acoustic raw data set, post frac analysis becomes capable of reviewing all specific events of interest that occurred during the fracture process at all points of depth and time in the wellbore.

 

Dynamic In-Situ Profiling

PureLight applications in SAGD or CSS operations provide fast and cost effective alternatives to monitoring temperature profiles for In-Situ operations.

  • Acoustic Analysis of new or existing permanent DTS installations
  • Intervention Temperature profiling
  • Temperature ranges exceeding 315oC (600oF)
PureLight fiber equipped High Temperature Coil is available for high deviation and horizontal applications or slickline conveyance for vertical monitoring.

Temperature profile with resolution of 0.1oC (0.18oF) acquired for the entire wellbore every three minutes, displayed in a user friendly, easy to read presentation. Time sequenced long term monitoring is also an option available as per request. Utilized with Pure Energy's DART Log Analysis software, this data may be merged and presented with existing wellbore logs or production data.
