Responsibilities:	Our Specialty Logging division is looking for a Lab Technician to be based in Red Deer. Reporting to the Senior Lab Technician, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Operate, maintain, set up and repair computer equipment, electronic components and systems for specialty logging and operations • Prepare reports following established procedures • Respond to emergency situations • Recommend changes/improvements in circuitry or installation specifications • Understand, follow and comply with company HSE Policies and Procedures and regulations
Qualifications:	Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years experience in Down-hole instrumentation, Open and Cased Hole Specialty logging is preferred • Background with fiber optics an asset, including fusion splicing and troubleshooting of fiber optic systems • Solid electronic troubleshooting skills • Mechanically inclined • Strong computer skills including experience with databases is desired • Superior time management, prioritizing and communication skills • Graduation from a two or more year Electronic Technologist program
