Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY
Pure Energy Services (USA), Inc. is a customer focused oilfield service company with field offices strategically located throughout the US.  Our goal is to attract and retain the best possible people to work with us as we continue to build a company dedicated to Providing Superior Value.  The Technical Support Specialist position will be located at the US Headquarters office in Englewood, CO.  Reporting directly to the IT Manager in the USA, your primary roles for this position are to manage and maintain systems deployed at the field level, and provide office support locally.  Communication with Operations staff is essential to succeed in this role.  Up to 50% overnight travel will be required to service locations in Grand Junction, CO. and Evanston, WY.
RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Frequent travel between field offices and unit locations
·         On-site systems trouble shooting and repair
·         Participation in software support, upgrades and rollouts (Windows-based)
·         End user technical support and thorough documentation to preserve consistency and knowledge base
·         Ability to lead and present formal systems training topics to small audiences
·         Flexible working hours supporting oilfield service units
·         Preventative system maintenance
·         Field office network support – LAN, WAN, satellite (voice and data), cellular
·         Available on-call after hours support
·         This person must be able to pick up new technologies with relative ease, work independently, communicate well, and have a strong desire to learn new skills and advance
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
·         Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years equivalent experience
·         Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
·         Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and achieve timelines
·         Strong understanding of network architecture
·         Advanced knowledge of PC and network hardware (A+ certification would be an asset)
·         Motivated, organized and an effective problem solver
·         Previous oil and gas service experience a plus
·         Willingness to travel and an ability to work flexible hours
·         Excellent driving record required
